Maribel is an elegant, ankle-length skirt with long back slit. The waist is finished with facing and the darts in the back provide a nice fit. Maribel is one of those that enthusiastically dances along with your preferences. A short version? Then just cut it off at the top of the slit. Wonderfully casual? Then opt for pockets on the front or go for a fitted version without pockets. Feeling cool? Decorative stitching will do the trick! The zip also varies according to fabric preference: a concealed zip for thinner fabrics and a closed-end zip for thicker fabrics. Magical Maribel

RECOMMENDED FABRICS:
Maribel likes fabrics with some firmness. Twill cotton, jeans, (imitation) leather and corduroy are good options. You can also create a nice effect with a supple (woollen) fabric. Think gabardine, flannel, crepe. Just make sure your fabric is not too thin and light.
