We proudly welcome Japanese denim specialists Sugar Cane to Wardrobe 19 as the only retailer in Denmark!
Sugar Cane is a Japanese clothing brand who honors the history of workwear by reconstructing and reproducing iconic workwear pieces down to the smallest detail with pure Japanese quality and finesse.
Today Sugar Cane is a renowned denim brand with a unique market position as one of the best denim manufacturers in Japan.
The 1947 model is an iconic model from Sugar Cane.
The style represents the extravagant details found in the vintage jeans found in the late 1940s. The entire process of production that includes spinning, dyeing, weaving and sewing is based in 1940s vintage jeans.
The production is done with great care to create a pair that is worthy of the name "Standard Denim".
The silhouette is regular/ straight.
Sugar Cane rarely offer non-denim versions in this iconic fit, which is why we're super excited about the release of this soft, yet heavy and durable 9-whale japanese corduroy fabric with all the original details.
The pants are made with hidden rivet reinforcements on the back pockets. A brilliant touch on a pair of cords for a longer life!
1947 model is made with zippered fly and high rise
PLEASE NOTE: the jeans run small in the sizing.
Martin normally wears 32, but in this case he fits a size 34.
We recommend going up 2 sizes due to the Japanese sizing.
